LEG AVENUE

Leg Avenue has been dressing legs since the 1980s, and it shows. The American label built its name on hosiery that looks better than it costs: fishnets that hold their shape, lace-top stay-ups, opaque thigh highs with bows, and pantyhose in cuts you won’t find in a supermarket multipack. Over the years the range grew into bodystockings, teddies, clubwear and some of the best-known costumes in the business.

If you’re new to the brand, start with stockings and hosiery. It’s where Leg Avenue is strongest and where most people fall for it. Fishnet and industrial-net tights work under ripped denim as easily as with lingerie, and the lace-top thigh highs pair with a garter belt or stand on their own with a silicone band. For something more dramatic, the bodystockings are a one-piece shortcut: stretch net or lace from shoulder to toe, usually one size, and forgiving on most figures.

Leg Avenue is also the name to know for dressing up. Their costumes and roleplay sets cover the classics, from nurse and maid to cat, with the gloves, ears and collars sold separately among the accessories if you’d rather build a look yourself.

A note on sizing: much of the hosiery is one size or one size plus, cut with generous stretch. Each product page lists the measurements the piece is made for, so check those rather than your usual dress size.
