CHILIROSE

Chilirose makes the kind of lingerie you buy for an occasion: lace, satin bows, strappy cut-outs and colours that don’t apologise. The collections are large and change often, and the prices stay friendly, which makes the brand an easy way to try a style you wouldn’t normally pick.

The range covers almost every piece. There are babydolls and chemises in sheer mesh and lace, usually sold with a matching thong; bodies and teddies with open backs and strappy details; and bra sets that often include a garter belt. If you prefer something more structured, the corsets come with suspenders attached, and the dresses and clubwear are made to be seen outside the bedroom too.

Chilirose is also one of our best sources for costumes. Nurse, maid, schoolgirl, police and flight-attendant sets come complete with the small accessories that finish the look, which makes them popular for parties and hen nights as well.

Sizes are usually paired, S/M and L/XL, with some styles in plus sizes. Fit varies between cuts, so look at the measurements on each product page rather than relying on the letter, and check what’s included in the set, since stockings are often sold separately.
